Hey everybody,

I've decided to stop my xanga-site as I would like to continue with my msn space and it's had to combine the two of them.

Bye!

And I decorated the Chistmastree today !!!! Here he is !!

Pictures of Vienna !!!

Such an emperistic city, that's the term to describe Venna the best I think. The buildings are totally overwelming, gold, white and red everywhere, barok time is still really alive and kicking in vienna!!! Also the Christmas-spirit was really close. Everywhere you saw christmasmarkets, lights that decorated the streets and glühwein !!!!

Here are some impressions that will give you some ideas. Other pictures you can find on my website: www.spaces.msn.com/members/sofiehafkenscheid

Here is a christmasstall

A part of the Hofburgcomplex

The operahouse where we saw the ballet of the Nutcracker

Famous stephansdom

Lights outside in the streets

Karlskirche by night

Partners in crime at the slot from Empress Sisi and Kaiser Joseph

Hey everybody ! At last I'm back home and I have regularly access to internet again ! I was wondering lately what that we were doing without internet before? How did we communicate? Where is the phone lately? How did I ever made my dissertation without looking up things on the Internet?

When technology fails for one day everybody panics. Isn't it strange to think that 9 years ago there almost were no computers logged-in at the internet? Isn't it strange that 50 years ago there were almost no TV's yet?

Luckily there are next to the internet also letters to communicate and eventhough internet is so much faster, what is nicer than going to your mailbox in the morning and finding a colourful envelope from your friend on the other side of the world?
